By paying the deposit for any course, class, or training session with Jaded Tattoo Academy, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this document, as well as any associated policies and procedures. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms prior to payment.
All training provided by Jaded Tattoo Academy is delivered on a business-to-business (B2B) basis. As such, this agreement is governed under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, not the Consumer Rights Act 2015. By enrolling, you acknowledge that your intent is to use the training to generate income or pursue a commercial service.
- Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.- Deposits secure your place and cover course preparation costs and materials. - Full course balance should be paid no later than 30 calendar days (1 month) prior to the course start date where possible. In all cases, the full balance must be paid before attending. - Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in loss of place and forfeiture of deposit. - No course materials or certificates will be released until the full balance has been received.
- We accept card payments via Stripe. - Finance is available via Klarna through Stripe, subject to eligibility and their terms and conditions. - Jaded Tattoo Academy is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and does not offer or arrange credit directly.- All finance agreements are strictly between the student and Klarna. Jaded Tattoo Academy has no control over acceptance decisions, repayment terms, or disputes related to these agreements. - Students are responsible for ensuring they can meet the financial obligations of any finance agreement entered into. - By agreeing to finance, you are committing to full payment of the course regardless of your outcome or satisfaction with the training.
- Courses may only be rescheduled at the discretion of Jaded Tattoo Academy. - In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a new date or a credit note valid for future training.- Personal circumstances, travel disruptions, or illness (without medical proof) will not result in refunds.
- You are expected to attend all sessions fully and on time. - If you miss any part of the training, you may be required to rebook at an additional cost. - Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour towards staff, peers, or models will not be tolerated. - We reserve the right to remove any student from the course without refund if conduct is deemed inappropriate or unsafe. - In the event that the trainer is delayed, the course will still proceed. Any missed time will either be added to the end of the day or, where not feasible, alternative time may be offered on another date
- A Certificate of Attendance is issued at the end of the course. - A Certificate of Achievement will only be issued upon submission and approval of 10 case studies (where applicable). - For Masterclasses, a Certificate of Completion will be issued; however, 5 case studies are required to be submitted post-class to receive final endorsement. - We reserve the right to delay or withhold certification if your work does not meet the required standards.
- We will endeavour to provide suitable models for the day where possible. However, you are ultimately responsible for providing your own model(s) unless otherwise agreed. - Models must be over 18 and medically suitable for tattooing. - We hold no liability for model dissatisfaction or complaints.
- You must notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, or learning needs prior to the course. - Failure to disclose relevant information that results in safety or legal issues may result in removal from the course.
- By booking, you consent to the use of any photographs, video recordings, or audio taken during the course for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, advertising, and educational material. - This includes group photos, behind-the-scenes footage, and content where you may appear in the background or during training demonstrations. - If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the course begins. We will make reasonable efforts to honour such requests, but this must be clearly communicated in advance. - No compensation or royalties will be provided for the use of such media, and you waive the right to inspect or approve any finished product where your likeness appears.
- All training materials, course content, and resources remain the intellectual property of Jaded Tattoo Academy. - You may not share, resell, or reproduce any materials without prior written permission.
- Any post-course studio access or support is discretionary and subject to availability. - We may withdraw access or support at any time if terms are breached
- We take all information provided by students regarding previous training or experience at face value. - We cannot assess skill level until we observe you working in the training environment. - If you choose to book onto a Masterclass, please ensure this is the correct level for you. - If you are unsure, a consultation call can be arranged to assess suitability, but this must be booked at least one week prior to the course start date to allow time for any necessary adjustments.
- Jaded Tattoo Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the course. - We are not responsible for costs incurred due to travel, accommodation, or personal loss. - We do not guarantee future employment, client success, or earnings from this training.
- Any disputes must first be addressed in writing to contact@jaded-tattoo.co.uk. - Legal jurisdiction for all matters will be under UK law.
- Jaded Tattoo Academy is not liable for any failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, pandemics, transport strikes, or governmental restrictions. - In such cases, rescheduling or credit notes will be offered, but no refunds will be issued.
- It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they comply with their local council, environmental health, or licensing authority regulations before and after completing the course. - Jaded Tattoo Academy provides general guidance but cannot be held liable for licensing outcomes in different regions.
- All students must maintain professional conduct and follow all hygiene, client care, and safety protocols throughout the training. - Failure to do so may result in exclusion without refund and disqualification from certification.
- All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. - By booking, you consent to us storing your name, contact details, and training records for administrative and certification purposes.
- Students may not actively solicit, recruit, or approach other attendees or associated clients of Jaded Tattoo Academy for competing training or services during or within 3 months following the course, unless granted explicit written permission.
- If false, misleading, or incomplete information is provided by a student during enrolment that impacts the suitability, safety, or delivery of the course, Jaded Tattoo Academy reserves the right to cancel or terminate enrolment without refund.
