POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

1. Booking & Payment

- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on any training course or class.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the start date, and always before attending.
- Finance options are available via Stripe/Klarna, subject to their own terms and credit checks.

2. Attendance & Participation

- Students are expected to attend all scheduled days and sessions in full.
- If you are unable to attend part or all of the course/class, you must notify us in writing at least 7 days in advance.
- Failure to attend without notice will result in loss of payment and course access.

3. Health, Safety & Conduct

- All students must adhere to hygiene and health & safety protocols provided.
- Any health issues or learning needs must be disclosed before the course starts.
- Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the training without refund.

4. Course Completion Requirements

- To obtain a Certificate of Completion, you must:
- Attend all scheduled sessions
- Complete all practical tasks and assessments
- Submit required case studies (where applicable)

5. Post-Course Support

- You will receive access to a WhatsApp support group for 6 months following your course.
- Studio access (if offered) is provided as a benefit, not an entitlement, and must be booked in advance.

6. Use of Equipment

- You may bring your own machine. Machines may also be provided during training.
- Any damage caused to academy property through negligence may incur charges.

7. Models

- We will endeavour to provide suitable models for the day where possible.
- You are responsible for providing your own model(s) unless otherwise agreed.
- Models must be over 18, sober, and in good health.

8. Location Changes

- We reserve the right to alter course locations in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Students will be notified in advance.

9. Photography & Filming

- Jaded Tattoo Academy reserves the right to capture photos and videos during the training.
- These may be used for social media and marketing unless a written opt-out is received at least 48 hours prior to course start.

10. Liability

- Jaded Tattoo Academy is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs in the event of rescheduling.
- You are responsible for ensuring you meet local licensing laws to tattoo professionally.

11. Business Classification

- All training is provided on a business-to-business basis. This means consumer law (e.g. the Consumer Rights Act 2015) does not apply. Training is governed under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.

12. Communication

- We aim to respond to all queries within 3 working days.

Jaded Tattoo Academy – Refund & Returns Policy

Important Legal Notice

Jaded Tattoo Academy provides professional training services intended for individuals seeking skills development or professional advancement. These services are classed as in-person educational services, not physical goods. Therefore, the statutory 14-day right to return under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
Additionally, all training is provided on a business-to-business (B2B) basis, and as such, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Distance Selling Regulations for consumers are not applicable.

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

All deposits made to secure a place on a course or class are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance. Deposits cover initial costs including administration, resource allocation, materials preparation, and venue booking. By making a deposit, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

2. Course Cancellations by Student

Cancellations made by the student for any reason will not qualify for a refund. No partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions or late arrivals. If a student cancels after paying the full balance, any balance paid (excluding the deposit) will not be refunded under any circumstance.

3. Course Cancellations by Jaded Tattoo Academy

In the rare event that Jaded Tattoo Academy must cancel a course or class, students will be offered the choice of:
- A transfer to an alternative course date
- A credit note valid for future training
Jaded Tattoo Academy is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or personal expenses incurred as a result of cancellation.

4. Rescheduling Requests

Rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of Jaded Tattoo Academy and is not guaranteed. Requests must be made in writing no less than 14 calendar days prior to the course. Only one reschedule is permitted per student, subject to availability.

5. Attendance and Commitment

Failure to attend any part of the course or class without prior written notice will result in full loss of payment. Early departure, partial attendance, or lack of participation does not entitle the student to any refund.

6. Dissatisfaction or Outcome Disputes

Dissatisfaction with course content, delivery, or outcomes is not a valid reason for a refund. No guarantees are made regarding skill level, professional outcomes, or employment following completion.

7. Finance Agreements (Klarna)

Students using Klarna are subject to Klarna’s own refund and dispute procedures. Jaded Tattoo Academy cannot interfere with, cancel, or refund any active Klarna agreement.

8. Discretionary Cases

Any refund issued outside this policy is entirely at the discretion of Jaded Tattoo Academy and does not establish precedent. Requests based on exceptional personal circumstances must be submitted in writing with relevant evidence.

9. Agreement Confirmation

By booking any training with Jaded Tattoo Academy, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood this Refund Policy
- You accept all terms stated within
- You waive any rights to refunds not explicitly outlined herein
